The TA project concerns research on systems of trading software agents ("trade agents") in electronic commerce. Principle research lines are relating agent technologies to feasible e-commerce application areas and the development of a modeling and code generation system for this relation; the construction of computer-aided adaptive trade agent strategies and implicit learning systems for interaction and transaction (like negotiation and profiling), with the investigation of emergent behaviour of trade agent systems in e-commerce; and the development of experimental prototypes, practical experience and solutions, and guidelines for application of agent systems in actual commercial situations.
